Costumes for celebration

Tomorrow is the Kiwi Team Celebration at 2.30. Please remember your 'cultural' costumes in the morning to wear after lunch :-)

Hope to see you all there!

In class celebrations!

It is always nice for children to have their efforts recognised and in Room 9 we do this in a number of ways. One of the highlights for the children is the end of week certificates related to the Reremoana 'Language Of Learning'.

We have also had a number of children celebrating their learning over in the office with the senior management and also a big well done to Emma Boswell and Nathan Stutter who received the Principals awards at the last school assembly.

We Are Amazing Writers in Room 9!

We have been learning how to write the sounds we can hear in the words we want to write and also have been learning to extend on our writing ideas. The children in Room 9 have been trying really hard and these are some of the recent writing that some children have done...

                                                        Writing about our friends

We blew bubbles and then wrote about it! The children had so much fun :-)

It's A Small World After All

For our Inquiry this term we have been learning about the different cultures in our classroom. We learnt about some special celebrations and traditions that families celebrate around the world. To celebrate our learning we have been learning the song 'Its a Small World'. We hope to share this with you at the Kiwi Team Celebration in Week 9!
